Exploration and drillhole data

Drillhole data in one place. Logs, assays and composites are checked before they reach the geological model.

  • Import of collars, surveys, lithology and assays from four CSV tables
  • Log editing and one table over all holes
  • Checks for overlapping and missing intervals and for holes without surveys
  • QA/QC of assays with control samples
  • Compositing by length and ore intercepts
  • Drillhole sections and export

How it goes

1

Import

Load the four tables of the drilling database. Holes appear in the 3D view with their traces and intervals.

2

Check

The program lists overlapping intervals, gaps, holes without surveys and values out of range. Fix them in the log or in the table over all holes.

3

Control assays

QA/QC of the control samples shows which batches of assays can be trusted before they go into the estimate.

4

Composite

Composite the samples by length and find the ore intercepts by a cutoff.

5

Hand over to geology

Sections through the holes and the composites go straight into geological bodies and the block model.
